The director
Damien LeVeck is a director and editor who uses genre as a lens on morality, evil, and what people become when tested. His debut, The Cleansing Hour (2020), was a breakout title for Shudder; A Creature Was Stirring (2023) starred Chrissy Metz, Annalise Basso and Scout Taylor-Compton.
Two decades as a film and television editor — most recently on Beast Games (Amazon), The Mole (Netflix) and Stars on Mars (Fox) — make him efficient and decisive on set. A USC graduate from Mattoon, Illinois, he lives in Dallas with his wife and three children.
